Welcome to the online portfolio of Mark Fletcher, Los Angeles-based writer, musician and composer.

I've been in the editorial field most of my adult life, beginning as a proofreader after graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia. I fine-tuned my skills as a copywriter and editor during my tenure with Xenon Pictures. At the time I was hired, they had no editorial department and no style guide. After assuming most of the company's writing duties, I created a style guide and established company editorial procedures. In addition to my work at Xenon, I've also contributed to the fanzines Fizz and LOCA, ghost written for a prominent plastic surgeon, edited two novels, freelanced for Rhino Records and Omnivore Recordings, and am currently writing content for AFIdb, the American Film Institute's online movie database.

I’ve also included links to some of my recordings, which are available for purchase and licensing. My original songs, some of which are were released by Sweet Debauchery Records, can be licensed from me directly or through 5 Alarm Music in Pasadena, CA; my publishing is administered through BMI.
